Registration Instructions
To enroll with your insurance plan, kindly follow the steps outlined below:
Step 1: Click on Verify Benefits on our “Getting Started Page”
Step 2: Select “Continue to Verifying Benefits” to accept being redirected to our third party Billing Company’s site
Step 3: Look for “Add Insurance” button under the provider’s page and select it to enter your insurance information
Step 4: Choose to either upload your insurance card images from your device or to enter your insurance information manually by clicking on “Enter Manually Instead” at the bottom of the page.
Step 5: Once you enter all of your insurance information, Headway will inform (1) you if your insurance is accepted and (2) what your rate per session will be. Please note that the rate may change based on your insurance provider.
Step 6: If your insurance is accepted and you are satisfied with the rate per session, you can proceed by going back to the calendar on the Headway page and scheduling your first appointment. First choose the day and time slot you prefer and then select “Book session” at the bottom.
Step 7: After selecting “Book Session”, you will be sent to the next page where you will enter your information in order to create a profile for the Billing Account. You may be asked to re-enter your insurance information as “Add Insurance” is simply to check if you’re insurance benefits are accepted. The information you provide in “Add Insurance” is not saved and therefore, you must re-enter it when creating your profile. You will then select “Sign Up” and complete any information requested.
To enroll with an Out-of-Pocket Plan, kindly follow the steps outlined below:
Step 1: Click on OOP Plans on our “Get Started” Page
Step 2: Select the Plan you prefer based n the frequency of visits you intend to participate in.
Step 3: All plans are for a 30 day period from purchase. Select “One Time Purchase” if you want to pay the fee as needed or select “Subscribe” if you want it to be a recurring payment where our system will notify you every time it is time to renew and automatically charge your card on file Complete your selection by clicking “Purchase” at the bottom of the page.
Step 4: Once you have purchased an Out-of-Pocket Plan, you can schedule your appointment by going back to the '“Get Started” page and click “Schedule”
Step 5: Once you select “Schedule”, you will be redirected to a third party scheduling site Jane. Here you will create a profile and select the session type, which is always “New Client Consultation” for first time session (as seen below). Clients will only choose one of the other available options after they have completed their first session with their therapist. Jane is where you will schedule all future appointments moving forward and is where you will meet with your therapist virtually.
